Everytime someone messages me about it, it means they like it, and want it.. just like the pumpkin mask or Tengu mask.. or any of the pets..

It makes your character different and gives you some individuality, and if noone cares so much, why do such things go for such a high price??

Looks and characteristics are everything in an rpg making it priceless and timeless..

well, they WOULD be timeless but now that ANET are stripping the DA from all future chapters characters its gona get pretty lame =[

I still love watching my rit dance with her spirits, and I still get people that stop and stare at my rit while she dances in towns/outposts. It is one of the reasons I bought the Factions CE, along with the soundtrack and the artbook, which is amazing to look through.

I still get the occasional "showoff" comment, but I couldn't care less.

We don't know for sure that will actually be true when it goes live.

hmmm, I think we do know this for sure.

It was there on the Factions Preview Event, but not in the Nightfall event, so they must have made a concious and deliberate decision to remove it.

Also, when questioned about it, Gaile said something along the lines of "I never thought we would get it for factions, and always saw it as an un-expected bonus"

If Gaile doesnt "expect" it then there really is no reason for anyone else too.

If they did take it out it's probablly because of people that didn't get the Prophecies CE whining that they can't get divine aura. But I'd still wait til it goes live to see what's going on.

In-game eyecandy sure is a nice add-on though, but I'm an art freak, and a materialist (in a sense), soooo, I'm down with whatever I can add to my collection.

The particle effects of Divine Aura are not all characters by default -- they had to be impelemented code-wise. Therefore, we can only wait to see what makes it into the final Nightfall release version. Also keep in mind that the game gets patched all the time, so even if DA doesn't make it into the Nightfall official release, it might still get added in future patches depending on ANET's Dev-team.

There are still a few Prophecies-CE copies floating out there (I got mine around June 2006). Just be ready to pay a VERY steep price for it if you really want it.

I think they should sell pre-order ITEMS only, in the store. (They'd be added to your account) Maybe for 99 cents each. Mind you, ever pre-order item ever made; From Taiwan, Japan, China, North America, and Europe.

I've seen Prophecies-CE go for up to £450 on eBay. While there's about 25 sitting down at a Computer Exchange (CEX) in London for only £15. Go figure.

As for the Nightfall-CE, if you're British, order it from Amazon.co.uk. At the moment, it's cheaper than the normal version by 4p. £17.96 for CE, £17.99 for Regular. Cool, huh?
